feedback

To teacher:
I have taken a 30 minutes class with this teacher, but my speaking timing and the teacher’s speaking timing did not match. Our conversation did not proceed smoothly. I got a feeling that Skype lessons are different than face-to-face classes, and it is difficult for the conversation to proceed smoothly. Compared with my previous teacher, who spoke British English, this American teacher seemed to lack the sense of stability. I am still considering which teacher to choose.
Good teacher:
She always provides me with feedback politely. We do a lot of free talk in class and she informs me that on this day we will talk about this topic, which is helpful and the teacher is reliable.
Good teacher:
He is very calm, gentleman-like and appears to be a true professional. His personality seems very neat. Also, he always uses a microphone headset, not the PC microphone, so I can hear him very clearly.
Good teacher:
I think he is the best teacher out of all English teachers that I know, including not only Ecom, but other schools. He is professional, so even advanced learners, like myself, can improve. Also, he allocates a lot of available hours for lesson time.
Good teacher:
The teacher can always come up with a variety of topics, so she is easy to talk to. Also she is very quick at typing in the Skype chat and can correct my mistakes quickly. I am now working abroad and, I believe that my conversations at work have become more smooth thanks to this teacher.
Good teacher:
He pointed out to a very elementary mistake, that other teachers did not mention, so it was a good opportunity for me to review my shortcomings, which was stimulating.
To teacher:
We did only reading in class, because it happened to be the part of the textbook that I am studying, and unfortunately there wasn’t time left for conversation. The teacher corrected my pronunciation and politely explained the meaning of the new words. However, I hope to have more emphasis on conversation next time.
Good teacher:
I think I have finally met a very good teacher. He skillfully helps me to continue with the conversation even when I seem to be stuck. I look forward to our next class.
Good teacher:
She always prepares interesting stimulating materials over a wide range of fields. She creates class environment that feels like learning new things in English rather than just learning English. I really appreciate the classes.
Good teacher:
Always appreciate him
(written by the student in English)
Good teacher:
He is really good at praising,so I can get a sense of accomplishment over my progress. Also I like that our classes are not bound to the textbook only, we discuss various topics, such as vocabulary nuances, the weather, traditions, and so on. I am personally satisfied with the classes.

Good teacher:
She is a very serious teacher. She teaches me very patiently, despite the fact that it takes a long time for me to understand Dutch language. She also leaves accurate and detailed notes, which are very useful for me when I review the class. The main target of my studies is learning Dutch, but we still use English as communication language with the teacher, so I can improve both English and Dutch, which is killing two birds with one stone for me.

Good teacher:
I think that the lessons are very easy to understand. Vocabulary is my weak point, so I asked the classes to be mainly focused on it. The teacher makes the class fun, so even unpleasant field can be fun for me. The feedback is feedback is also easy to understand and useful to review.
Good teacher:
The classes are fun, easy to understand and increase my motivation for studying. The teacher also corrects my mistakes clearly. Also when we do the listening exercises, she combines easy ones with slightly more difficult ones, so it is quite practical.
Good teacher:
Since I have studied with this teacher for a long time, she gives me the sense of “stability and peace of mind.” I feel that I can consult with her on a variety of topics. Although she is British, I find that her pronunciation is easy to understand and does not have a peculiar accent. Also she has lived a long time in Japan, so she understands Japanese people well. That also brings me the “peace of mind,” I think. She is one of the teachers that I would like to study with in the future.
Good teacher:
She is very easy to talk to. She also corrects my pronunciation and grammar on the spot. Although I take her classes not regularly, but just once in a while,I think that she is very talented and knowledgeable teacher.
Good teacher:
Although the environment (contents and schedule) of my classes change a lot, the teacher flexibly adjusts the lessons to it, so I am really grateful for that. The teacher is very practical and patiently corrects my pronunciation and intonation, which is very helpful for me at the business scene. Also she provides me with substantial notes after class, and assigns homework each time. I think that I am making much progress thanks to Lisa.
Good teacher:
She provides me with accurate and caring advice, patiently listens to my unskillful English and adjusts the class to the student’s level. Also, she tells me about the popular topics and sites, and increases my motivation to study English. I am very grateful for her bright, cheerful and fun classes.
To teacher:
The teacher adjusted my pronunciation carefully. We also carefully followed the textbook in class. However the listening exercises from the CD that comes with my textbook were assigned as homework. I was surprised, because we used to listen to the CD as a part of class with my previous teacher. Do these things vary from teacher to teacher? I should have probably explained more what I would like to do in class.
Good teacher:
Her attitude toward classes is very sincere. Because of this, my established image of her is that of a teacher I can trust. I ask her to assign me as much homework as possible, because, I believe that one cannot master the language without pre-study and after-study. The teacher makes plenty of notes during class and also leaves memos after the class, so it is very helpful for me to review. In short she creates a perfect environment to assist me with my studies and the rest of course is up to me. I look forward to our classes in the future.
Good teacher:
In class he assumes the stance of a listener and rather than concentrating on small mistakes, encourages me to speak with confidence, providing me with plenty of opportunities to speak up. This helped me to stop being too tense and overcome the timidness and resistance of speaking in English. I am really grateful to the teacher for this point. The teacher has also increased my motivation for English studies. However, I believe that the classes can be even more effective if they are more systematically focused on expanding vocabulary, while using the free discussion as practical exercises. Right now our classes basically proceed in free discussion style, based on newspaper articles. The teacher’s questions are accurate, but I think there would be more improvement, if the questions are more focused on the student’s overall educational goal. For example if the student has a particular quarterly goal, based on their current knowledge and the teacher would give them suggestions on what they can do to achieve that goal, so the student has a clear plan of proceeding towards their goal, would add more sense of fulfilment for the student.
